Short synopsis

This website briefly presents research project “Creation of oscillations based social simulation paradigm” (OSIMAS), which is funded by the European Social Fund following the Global Grant measure program (project No. VP1-3.1-SMM-07-K-01-137).

In this project we systematically review and adapt fundamental, experimental and simulation approaches, which, following OSIMAS paradigm, integrate neuroscience, computational agent-based and social sciences in a coherent multidisciplinary research framework. In this conceptual, experimental and modelling framework, we have outlined some general fundamental design principles of the field-theoretical view of the oscillating agent as well as of coherent social systems.

Hence, OSIMAS is directed towards integration of physics, neuroscience, computational agent-based and social sciences in a coherent multidisciplinary research framework targeted to the better understanding of individual and collective consciousness. This includes conceptual, experimental and modelling framework of individual and collective behavior.

Project duration: 2011 03 - 2015 10.

Project team: 4 researches.


The main goals

I.  Fundamental research aimed for working out oscillations based multiagent systems (OSIMAS) simulation paradigm, composed by three major models

- pervasive information field (PIF),

- oscillating agent model (OAM),

- wavelike interaction mechanism (WIM),

II.   Experimental EEG-based research aimed at empirical validation or disrpove of the theoretical concepts.

III. Interactive web-based simulational platform (V-lab) aimed at presenting of obtained models and prototypes (see for the link below). 

IV. OAM and OAM-based MAS (multi-agent system) creation using OSIMAS approaches and/or AI (artificial intelligence) methods.
